Algorithm for the simulation of the radiographic process. X-rays are modelled as straight lines (generic X-ray beam) through matter. The radiographic DDR image plane and X-rays are sampled. X-ray attenuation values of the CT 3D model are integrated together with a generic ray in order to obtain the grey-level of the corresponding pixel of the DRR.
