In this article, we address a problem of bind 2D-DOA estimation with L-shaped array. This article links the 2D-DOA estimation problem to the trilinear model. To exploit this link, we derive a trilinear decomposition-based 2D-DOA estimation algorithm in L-shaped array. Without spectral peak searching and pairing, the proposed algorithm employs well. Moreover, our algorithm has much better 2D-DOA estimation performance than the estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance technique algorithms and propagator method.
