Processing time of different algorithms (Lucas-Kanede--LK--and Horn-Schunck--HS, including or excluding the production term) when applied to a different number of images. A single translating Gaussian function, equal to that used in Figure 3, but without adding noise and fixing the flow vector to (1, 1) pixel/frame is considered. The Gaussian function was sampled with a different number of pixels: 20 × 20 (left panel) or 40 × 40 (right panel).
