Call for Papers: Advanced Signal Processing Algorithms and Techniques for Machinery Diagnosis

Industrial machinery may suffer inevitable health degradation, which affects its performance and structural integrity. Timely diagnosis health symptoms are essential to support predictive decision-making and to guarantee industrial safety. Variable environments and conditions are often encountered in industrial machinery. Advanced signal processing algorithms and techniques are expected to provide anywhere and anytime monitoring services to different machineries. The development of signal processing algorithms and techniques is a promising solution to achieve this goal. Developing methods to effectively and efficiently process the machine health monitoring data to achieve accurate and reliable diagnosis has drawn much interest in the past decade.

This special issue focuses on the signal processing algorithms and techniques to realize precise, accurate, and timely diagnosis machine health monitoring. All submissions should neither have been published previously nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. The submitted papers will undergo a strict peer review process based on originality, quality, and relevance to this special issue and the journal.

Potential topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:

  • Advanced measurement and intelligent processing for machine monitoring
  • Fault-related signatures extraction for machine health monitoring
  • Artificial intelligence algorithms and technology in intelligent fault detection
